Professional Education & Accreditation

A Profession with Purpose: Compassion, Accessibility and Service” is an RCDSO-approved Category 1 Core course that examines the ethical and professional foundations of dignity-based dental care, with a focus on access to care, responsibility, and service within contemporary dental practice. The course was approved by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario for the maximum approval period and is valid through November 30, 2028.

The course is offered through the Flower City Institute for Dental Advancements, a nationally approved PACE Program Provider of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Approval by PACE allows the course to be recognized for AGD Fellowship and Mastership credit; however, PACE approval does not imply acceptance or endorsement by any regulatory authority.

Participation in this course is independent of participation in National Dental Care Day and is not required to take part in NDCD.
